Distribution
It has a restricted distribution limited to southern Florida and parts of the Caribbean, including Cuba and Jamaica.
Description
It is a small, stout-bodied butterfly in the skipper family. The dorsal side of the male’s wing is dark brown with a sheen and a circle of white transparent spots near the apex. The female has dark mottling, bands and dark outer margins on the wings. The forewings have numerous and larger transparent white spots than the males.
