Distribution
Found in the Balkans from Croatia to southwest Bulgaria and central Greece. We saw this species west of Iselnica, Romania in June 2026.
Description
The butterfly has white upper wings with darkened apex tips. Females have two dark spots on the forewing, while males have only one. The wing underside is yellowish with gray scales running along the veins of the wings.
