Distribution
Found in southern Texas and south through Mexico, Central America and Panama. We photographed this species at Black Rock Lodge, Belize.
Description
The wings are dark brown above with four or five red spots on the basal portion of the hindwing. There is a bold white median band running across both the forewing and hindwing.
